As a photographer, there are some sessions that you know are just going to be breathtaking as you are clicking the shutter on your camera. This is one of those sessions for me! First of all, the weather (which had been rainy for the two previous days), had cleared and we had the most gorgeous sunset lighting you could ask for. The moisture that had accumulated on the leaves added to the beauty by creating an almost glitter effect at that time of the day. Jaree arrived to our session in a red flowing maternity dress that was complimented perfectly by the holiday ribbons that were decorating the canal behind us.
But my friends, the real magic occurred while watching this lovely mama interact with her family. I adore shooting maternity sessions! To me, there is such beauty and strength to be captured in women who are carrying another life. Seeing the love in Jaree's eyes as she smiled and laughed with her hubby, Brian, and sweet little boy Amelio was so precious. Amelio was the cutest!! He was more interested in gathering acorns and leaves to bring to me than taking pictures haha! The images we did get of him though, are so authentic, and as a mom, those are the ones that speak to my heart the most. As I look back on this gallery, I can't help but smile as I see a precious family with so much love, that will only grow stronger as their new little baby joins them in January.
