At Alicia Wilson Photography, I believe in an effortless, luxury experience that results in breathtaking, fine art imagery. My pricing is all-inclusive, covering both the session fee and a collection of high-resolution digital images, so you receive a seamless and transparent experience from start to finish.
The process is simple—designed so that your session is stress-free and that every detail is thoughtfully curated. From the initial consultation to the final delivery of your stunning images, I am committed to providing exceptional quality, unparalleled professionalism, and a personalized touch that makes every client feel valued and at ease.
Each session is crafted to produce timeless, stunning portraits that capture the beauty and emotion of your most cherished moments. To reserve your session, a non-refundable retainer fee equal to fifty percent (50%) of the contracted session fee and a signed contract are required upon booking. This ensures your date is secured and allows me to begin planning every detail of your session. The remaining balance is due prior to the session date, guaranteeing a smooth and effortless experience on the day of your shoot. From the moment you book, you’ll receive personalized guidance to help you prepare, and trust that your session is beautifully curated and tailored to your vision.

Complete the Contact form on my website with your session type and desired package and we will find a date and location that works perfectly for you. For your convenience, a contract and invoice will be sent through email and can be signed electronically and paid online. Afterwards, you will receive a personalized Client Questionnaire and Session Guide to help answer any questions you may have.
Session Day:
Session day is here! All you and your sweet family have to do is show up and I will take care of the rest! Together, we will laugh, play and have fun while taking some gorgeous pictures. Get ready to have the most stress free session you've ever had!
Portrait Selection:
I will cull and select the very best images from our session and send you an email link to access and select your favorites from your gallery. Then, I perform a complete, fine art hand edit on each of your selections.
Gallery Delivery!
After your final edits have all be completed, I will send you a link and password information so that you can download and save your gallery. Please allow up to three weeks after your favorites have been submitted to me for final gallery delivery.
Deluxe Session

How do I book a session?
Booking a session is easy! Simply fill out the contact form here on the website, and let me know what type of session you are interested in. Then, we will select an available date that works for you. After I receive your retainer fee and signed contract, I will send a confirmation email to you with details regarding your session.
What happens after the session?
After the session, I will cull through and select the very best images from your session. Then, you will be able to view and select your preferred images from an online gallery, or you can purchase the full gallery if you would like.
I, then perform an advanced, hand edit on each of your selected images before delivering your final gallery. Those images will be sent to you through an online, private viewing gallery that is password protected. Please allow three weeks after your favorites have been submitted to me for your final gallery to be sent to you.
I really just want a few pictures. Do you offer mini sessions?
I do offer stylized mini sessions a few times a year. My VIP email subscribers are the first to be notified and able to book my mini sessions. To join my email list, please fill out the form at aliciawilsonphotography.com/subscribe
What kind of gear do you use?
I'm a Nikon girl for sure!! I use two camera bodies, but my favorite is my Nikon D750 full frame camera. My go to lenses are my 85mm and 35mm.
What does it mean when you "hand edit" an image? Don't all photographers edit the same way?
That's a great question! Every photographer has their own method for shooting and editing...that's what defines their particular style. Some photogs prefer to use tools called actions or presets that allow them batch edit an entire session with just a few clicks of a button. I prefer to hand edit my images, meaning I utilize two separate professional grade software programs to fine tune each individual image through the use of different techniques I have learned over the years. While this method is much more time consuming, I feel that this creates a more fine art look to each image that I am so proud to give to my clients.
Can you do advanced retouching on my images?
Every image is processed for color correction, proper exposure, clarity and basic skin smoothing. Advanced edits such as removal of skin or clothing wrinkles, removal of food off of faces or liquifying of body parts can be done at an additional fee, and all requests are subject to the discretion of Alicia Wilson Photography.
What if my child/children start crying during the session?
First of all, don't worry! I am a mama and a former teacher, so I am completely comfortable handling little people with BIG emotions. Most often, the kiddos just need a break from shooting for a few minutes and once they are happy and calm, we can resume with the session. My method of shooting doesn't require long periods of sitting and posing, and I make every effort to create a relaxing and fun experience that doesn't overwhelm children. The most important thing that I can say is that children will feed off of the emotions of those around them, so if we stay calm and positive, they most often will too. Remember, the goal is to capture authentic moments of connection, not worry about being perfect for my camera.
Do you shoot weddings or events?
While I am honored to be asked to shoot weddings and events often, I currently do not offer those services. My heart is in documenting families and children. However, I am always happy to refer you to some talented colleagues of mine that specialize in weddings!
